Day 1

Welcome to Peru - History and Enchantment in the City of Kings

Your arrival in Peru begins in Lima, where you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel. Once settled in, begin your exploration of the capital, a city where colonial roots and modernity blend to offer a vibrant and unique experience.
 

Your hotel will be located in Miraflores, a modern district known for its dynamic atmosphere and seaside parks.

After a break, in the afternoon, you will embark on a tour of the Historic Centre, a World Heritage Site, which will take you back to colonial times. The Plaza de Armas welcomes you with its imposing architecture and invites you to explore the grandiose Cathedral of Lima. Afterwards, we head to the Convent of San Francisco, a mystical place that houses ancient catacombs and libraries with centuries-old texts, a space that seems to have stood still in time.

The night awaits you in Lima to rest, with the excitement of knowing that the journey has just begun and that the Andes and the magic of the Incas still await you.

Day 2

Flight from Lima to Cusco - Connecting with the Enchantment of Pisac

Start the day with breakfast at your hotel in Lima before heading to the airport. You will then take a flight to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and, after a short rest, you will make your way to ‘Manos de la Comunidad’, a unique

experience where you will have the opportunity to meet and share with local artisans. Here, you will learn about the weaving traditions, natural dyes and craft techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation.

Afterwards, continue the journey to the charming village of Pisac. In its famous handicraft market, you will find a wide variety of typical products, such as colourful textiles and jewellery. You will then ascend to the archaeological centre of Pisac, from where you will see impressive agricultural terraces and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley, a place that reflects the grandeur of the Inca civilization.

During your visit to the Sacred Valley, you will enjoy a buffet lunch prepared with local ingredients, an opportunity to savour Andean gastronomy.

Conclude the day with a quiet night in the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains and the serenity of the Andean culture.

Day 3

Mysteries of Maras, Moray and the Fortress of Ollantaytambo

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, surrounded by the serenity of the Sacred Valley. The morning takes you to the salt mines of Maras, a natural formation on the slopes of the Andes where salt is extracted in the traditional way.
 

This place offers a visual spectacle with thousands of pools glistening in the sun, an image that connects you with the ancient practices of the local community.

Next, you will visit Moray, a unique archaeological site featuring circular terraces built by the Incas. This place was an Inca agricultural laboratory, where they grew crops in different microclimates. As you walk through each level, you will learn how ancient civilisations adapted their knowledge to the conditions of nature.

After lunch in the Sacred Valley, the afternoon will take you to Ollantaytambo, an enigmatic fortress that was a bastion of resistance against the conquistadors. Its immense terraces and perfectly assembled stone blocks bear witness to the architectural prowess of the Incas. You will walk among its ruins, feeling the energy and history that emanates from every corner. From the top, you will be able to contemplate the village of Ollantaytambo, which still preserves the original Inca urban design.

The night in the Sacred Valley offers you the opportunity to relax in a mystical environment, preparing for the most awaited day: Machu Picchu.

Day 4

Machu Picchu - Discovering the Heart of the Andes

Today you will live one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life. Start early by taking the train to Aguas Calientes, a journey surrounded by towering mountains and cloud forest. As you approach Machu Picchu, you will feel the excitement of getting closer and closer to the lost citadel of the Incas.
 

Upon arrival, you will meet your guide, who will take you to the CONSETTUR bus station that will take you from Aguas Calientes to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu to discover every detail of this wonder of the world. The tour starts in the main square and continues through the temples, terraces and viewpoints that offer spectacular views of the surroundings. You will learn about Inca rites, sacred astronomy and the advanced architectural techniques that allowed them to build this sanctuary in the middle of the mountains.

After the tour, you will enjoy lunch in Aguas Calientes, reflecting on the unique experience you have just had. In the afternoon, you will return to Cusco by train, remembering every step you took in this sacred place.

The night in Cusco is the perfect time to rest, still feeling the energy and mystery of Machu Picchu.

Exploring Cusco - Between Historical Treasures and Urban Adventures

The morning in Cusco is a free time to stroll through its cobblestone streets, admire its colonial facades and enjoy its unique atmosphere. You can sample the local cuisine, explore handicraft shops and immerse yourself in the Andean atmosphere that permeates every corner.
 

In the afternoon, you will embark on a tour of the city's main historical sites. First, you will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, an architectural icon that houses works of art and altarpieces from the colonial era. Then, you will head to the Koricancha Temple, a place where Inca foundations support a colonial construction, symbolizing the fusion of cultures.

The afternoon continues around Cusco, where you will explore the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Each of these places has a special significance and gives you a deep understanding of the Andean cosmovision, rituals and respect for nature.

End the day in Cusco, enjoying its welcoming atmosphere and looking into the past and present of this city that is still alive in every stone and every street.

Farewell to Cusco - "Hasta Pronto" to the Land of the Incas

After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a final stroll through Cusco. Take time to soak in its charm or pick up some last souvenirs. Soon, it will be time to say goodbye to this magical land.

As you depart, you carry memories of majestic landscapes and vibrant culture. The essence of an ancient civilization still lives in every corner. Peru's history and spirit will remain with you forever.
