Day 1:
Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Lima, the City of Kings. After transferring to your hotel in Miraflores, take a moment to relax and soak in the coastal atmosphere. Miraflores offers oceanfront views, manicured parks, and the hum of local life. It’s the perfect introduction to Peru’s seamless blend of heritage and modernity.
In the afternoon, explore Lima’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin at Plaza Mayor, surrounded by ornate colonial buildings, then visit the Cathedral of Lima with its Renaissance-inspired architecture and sacred ambiance. Continue to the Convent of San Francisco, home to underground catacombs and centuries-old religious art that echo Lima’s spiritual past.
Before nightfall, stroll through Barranco, Lima’s bohemian neighborhood filled with colorful murals and colonial charm.
